He started to paint when he was very young, left Russia in 1912 for Berlin, Paris and Barcelona until 1917, then returned to the Montparnasse district in Paris in 1919 where he joined the Dada movement. As a friend of Picabia, Tristan Tzara and André Breton, Charchoune contributed to and wrote for many magazines…
